為Symantec V2i Protector。Symantec LiveState Recovery 產品系列能夠存取整個

伺服器或桌上型電腦的即時?#092;作狀態，將作業系統、應用程式、資料及設定等內

容放入一個易於管理的單一檔案中。而即時差異性影像備份（snapshots）也不會影

響用戶生產力或應用程式的?#092;作，使用者可以在短短數分鐘之內就重建整個系

統，或是全面的純粹機器還原（bare metal recovery），也可以找回個別的檔案或

資料夾，再也不必用傳統磁帶備份的方式，耗上好幾個小時來手動重建伺服器、工作

儲存設備升級的時候(Advanced Server 和 Desktop 版本)，都能自動調 整備份排程。



用戶使用產品光碟之中的復原磁碟（Symantec Recovery Disk），可以經由內建的

Symantec pcAnywhere 主機技術，遠端重建伺服器及桌上型電腦。



當處理差異性影像備份時，只需將Microsoft Volume Shadow Copy Service (VSS)的

資料庫設定於靜止狀態，而不需中斷網路連線。



可以從簡單磁碟 (simple disk) 轉換至動態磁碟 (dynamic disk)，也可以從動態磁

碟轉換至簡單磁碟。



動態調 整系統的使用效能，以便更有效地用資源。

Symantec LiveState Recovery Desktop 3.0 (formerly V2i Protector Desktop)

is a reliable system and data recovery solution designed to quickly

recover failed Windows-based desktop PCs and remote laptop systems back

to an operative state. Symantec LiveState Recovery Desktop allows

organizations to recover desktop volumes, complete a bare metal

restoration or recover individual files/folders in minutes as opposed to

manually rebuilding systems, which could take hours or even days.



Using this disk-based backup solution, users can capture the entire

desktop live state, including files in use, system configurations, and

user personalities, without interrupting user productivity or

application usage. This live state can be saved on CD, DVD, another

system partition or a network drive.



Symantec LiveState Recovery Desktop allows organizations to incorporate

non-intrusive data protection for desktop and remote systems that do not

have any type of backup and protection established.
